After 44 years in our house we decided to sell the house and buy a condo. Gary Brown worked out a buy/sell strategy with us. We first met Gary twenty five years ago when we sold our first home. I recall meeting a young Gary Brown years ago when I worked as a counter clerk in the old post office at Kingston Rd. and Midland Ave. in Scarborough.
Having recently acquired his real estate licence and bubbling with enthusiasm he approached the counter with a smile and I could see he was excited about sending out his very first batch of advertising flyers and I was happy to help him complete the necessary forms etc.
Things took off quickly for Gary as his career in real estate blossomed and it was clear he was becoming more and more a pillar of the community.
Last fall when my wife and I decided we would like to live in the bluffs area we called on Gary to help us find the right home.

We were faced with the agonizing decision to sell my parents home after they passed away. Coming to this decision was difficult as it had been our childhood home since 1964. All of our memories of Family events, Christmas and the like were embedded within the walls of that home. But, change is an unstoppable force and after a great deal of thought, we realized that living in the house would not be the same. The next problem would be to find a realtor that would understand the situation and act in our best interests. Over the years we have been both buyer and vendor, and the experience with realtors and agents was not stellar, nor did those experiences ever leave us with the intent to do repeat business with them, let alone write a
testimonial. Gary Brown went to our high school, but that alone is not a great qualifier. However, knowing that he has focused a lot of his attention
on the Bluffs/Cliffcrest area we live in, coupled with the fact that he also grew up in this neighbourhood qualifies him as one who truly knows the area, knows the homes and the people. Over the years we had received his marketing materials and saw him rise in his profession. Still apprehensive, we contacted Gary through the Re/Max website and he called back within minutes. From that point on, everything moved along like a well-scripted performance. The marketing plan he introduced resulted in an overwhelming response to the property.
We made the initial contact on a Friday evening, and the home was sold one week later on the following Friday evening, above asking price. Along the way, Gary was attentive and reassuring, instilling us with the confidence that the sale would be completely successful. When its time to buy again, Gary is the only real estate professional we want working with us.

We would like to start our story with a big thank you to the Digalakis team for all their help at such a sad time.The whole team stepped up to the plate at a time when they were hurting the most.Ken and Gary both made sure we had the service we had grown accustomed to by the late Adam Smith. We first met Adam Smith in April 2013. He was the sales representative for my next door neighbor and after speaking to him we arranged a meeting. Our house was not ready to go on the market yet but Adam was more than willing to assist us in anyway he could and help he did. Adam worked with us for 8 months helping us find laborers and painters; always keeping in touch making sure we were still on track, assisting us in anyway he could. Adam at this point still did not have our listing, no papers had been signed, nothing was for sure. All the time and positive attitude he shared with us made us realize that we have become friends . Little did we know our friendship would be cut short with this sad tragedy. Adam was very sincere, personable and his character was strong. Although Adam never had the chance to walk the trails at our new farm like we talked about, we have decided to plant a tree and name one of the trails after him.We will miss our friend Adam Smith.
